Pearl Jam 1991 Highlights :
- Mini West Coast Tour supporting Alice in Chains. - Eddie, Stone & Jeff were invited to appear in 'Singles' a movie by Cameron Crowe. - They have a new name , PEARL JAM. - March 11th, Pearl Jam entered the studio to record their debut album, 'TEN'. - On April 16th, the Temple of the Dog album is released. A tribute to Andrew Wood. - May, a three-song sampler featuring "Alive", "Wash", and the bandīs cover of "Iīve Got a Feeling", is sent to the Mother Love Bone and Soundgarden fan clubs. - May 25th, Dave Krusenīs last show with Pearl Jam. - Pearl Jam went to Dorking in England to mix 'TEN', on June. - Matt Chamberlain is the new drummer, although for not too long. - Mini East Coast Tour on July . Pearl Jam shot the video of 'Alive' at the Rock Candy in Seattle on August 3rd. - Dave Abruzzesse replaces Matt Chamberlain on drums, his first show was at the Mural Amphitheater in Seattle. - August 27th, Pearl Jamīs debut album is released. - Late September, Pearl Jam starts their Tour supporting 'Ten'. - The Red Hot Chili Peppers invited them to be their support act. - October 16th, first show opening for the Peppers. - November 11th and 14th Pearl Jam played acoustic shows at record stores. - December, Xmas Single featuring 'Let me Sleep' and 'Ramblings'. - New Yearīs Eve, three great bands, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. |
