On September 14th, Eddie was among about 70 people - including former
Nirvana bassist Kris Novoselic - who attended a hearing
on the All Ages Dance Ordinance (AADO).
"The AADO is responsible legislation that protects the interests of minors,
parents and the city government. Seattle and music are synonymous. Why do some
civic leaders always link music with social problems? It's
time to hear the music"
said Novoselic, who founded and serves as
president of Joint Artists and Music Promotions Action Committee.
On September 15th, The Rockfords
(Mike´s sideband)
performed at the Showbox Theater in Seattle. The Showbox has rarely seen such a good
time- the floor was bouncin',
the fans were screamin', and the Rockfords delivered a loud, solid show. Highlights
included an amazing version of Heart
in Your Hands , (the Japanese issue's extra track!), a very nearly auctioned
Rick Friel, a beautiful teaser of Riverwide- and Anne Marie providing strings
in Silver Lining and Island.
